TP3: Cooperation between Swiss universities of applied sciences / Swiss universities of teacher education and foreign higher education institutions in the field of doctorates

This programme is funded within the framework of the federal project contributions 2017-2020. The implementation and the financing of the project contributions 2017-2020 are subject to the decisions of the Parliament.

TP3 promotes joint research projects in the field of doctoral studies, between the Swiss universities of applied sciences (UAS) and Swiss universities of teacher education (UTE) on the one hand, and foreign higher education institutions on the other. Support is given to cooperative projects in fields and disciplines that are not represented at Swiss universities. The doctoral degrees are issued by the foreign partner higher education institution.

The call for proposals has been closed

Deadline for applications: 30 December 2016

Decisions: April 2017

Further information as well as notes on the requierements of the applications' form and content can be found directly in the call for proposals.

The financing period lasts until 31 December 2020. By then the financial contribution, that has not been used, has to be returned to the Confederation. According to the results of the first call for proposals the steering committee might decide to launch a second call for proposals in autumn 2017. However, the financing period would not be extended.
