For holders of a vocational baccalaureate

Generally speaking, examination-free admission is granted to prospective students who have obtained both upper-secondary level vocational qualifications in an occupation related to the chosen field of study: Federal VET Diploma (eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis / certificat fédéral de capacité / attestato federale di capacità) and the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (eidgenössische Berufsmaturität / maturité professionnelle fédérale / maturità professionale federale). Depending on the chosen field of study, prospective students may also have to fullfill other admission requirements (e.g. traineeship, aptitude test, etc.). For more information, please contact the UAS directly.

If the prospective student’s vocational qualifications are not related to the chosen field of study (specifically engineering or economics), then he/she must have at least one year of work experience in order to enrol in the Bachelor’s degree programme.
