Access
Who can access these resources?
Students and employees of the colleges of applied sciences can access the online resources. Walk-in users may access the resources within the library.
Where do I find the access links?
You can begin your search either by subject area or by document type.
Use «Resources by subject area» for a listing of all relevant resources by subject: databases, journals, reference works, etc. as well as links to some interesting freely available resources.
Use «Resources by document type» if you are looking for a specific journal or journal collection such as Elsevier Science Direct or a specific database such as Web of Science. Also select this access option if you want to know which journal collections, standards, patents, etc are available to you.
Some libraries subscribe to additional online resources that are not available here. Please check your library website for access links to these resources.
Are there restrictions to access and usage?
Access is possible within the college network or by remote access if provided by your institution. If you have questions concerning remote access, please ask your IT service or your library.

For some databases not the entire content is licensed. Limitations to the content that can be accessed are mentioned below the access links on this website.

- Oxford Art Online (3 SU).
Journals:
For most journals the last 15 years or so are accessible, but not the entire archive. Information on the accessible years is provided below the access links to the editors websites or in the alphabetical list of subscribed journals.
ATTENTION:
Systematic downloads or reproduction (manual or program-based) of large parts of journal, book or bibliographic databases is prohibited.
Access problems?
Please ask your librarian. If she cannot help, you can send an email to Susanna Landwehr or directly to the consortium.

- Passing on documents to third parties and distribution of documents for example through freely accessible websites is prohibited.
- The documents must not be altered.
- Systematic download and reproduction (manual or with a program) of considerable parts of journal, book or bibliographic databases is not permitted.
In general, the guidelines of the IT department of the college of applied sciences as well as Swiss copyright law apply.
