The European initiative Euraxess promotes the careers and mobility of researchers in Europe. At present, 40 European countries are involved in the Euraxess network, which is active at the European, national and regional level. Online and through personal advising at the universities, Euraxess provides researchers moving to another country with information related to the topic of mobility. Euraxess has a pan-European job database to help with searching for a position, and works to ensure fair employment conditions and good development opportunities for researchers.

The main target group of Euraxess is composed of researchers, as well as universities, other employers of researchers and higher education policy institutions.
