Internationalisation of Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts
Since their foundation, Swiss universities of applied sciences and arts (UAS) have established cooperations with partners from education, business and industry, culture, and society. These cooperations are being steadily expanded - beyond university-specific, disciplinary, and geographical boundaries.
Nevertheless, action needs to be taken on various levels to make Swiss universities of applied sciences and their particular profile as practice-oriented higher education institutions qualifying students for their future careers more visible. Such action will enable universities of applied sciences to strengthen their international position and to expand their networks.
swissuniversities supports the Swiss UAS to achieve these objectives through purposeful measures within the Internationalisation of Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts project. Funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) with a total of CHF 4 million, the project will run from 2013 to 2016.
The project is divided into four parts:
Project organisation and basic information
Strategie Mobilitätsprogramm (german, January 2016)
Project factsheet (December 2014)
Kommunikationsstrategie (german, October 2014)
Development and cooperation strategy (Februar 2014)
Internationalisierungsstrategie KFH (german, May 2012)
