Description of Programme The Master Mind Scholarship is funded by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training and supports outstanding international students who wish to follow a master's degree programme in Flanders or Brussels at participating Flemish higher education institutions. Eligibility Criteria - Applicant must apply for a master's degree programme at a participating Flemish higher education institution. The programme must comprise at least 60 ECTS per academic year.
- Applicant must demonstrate strong academic performance, with a GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 based on the most recently obtained bachelor's or master's degree.
- Applicant must meet the English-language requirements established for the host institution type.
- Applicant must be accepted by the Flemish host institution for the degree programme.
- The previous degree used for admission to the master's programme must not have been obtained at a Flemish higher education institution.
- Students already enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution are not eligible, except international students enrolled in a preparatory programme in Spring 2026 that leads to a master's programme starting in September 2026.
- All nationalities may apply except Russian nationals.
- At least half of the master's programme credits must be obtained at the Flemish host institution.
Duration of Scholarship - One academic year for master's programmes of 60 ECTS.
- Two academic years for master's programmes of 120 ECTS.
Scholarship Benefits - Grant of EUR 10,225 per academic year.
- Tuition fee waiver.
- The host institution may charge a reduced tuition fee corresponding to the lowest statutory tuition rate for Flemish grant-holding students (EUR 136.50 for academic year 2026–2027).

| Remarks | - The scholarship cannot be combined with another scholarship from the Flemish Government, an Erasmus+ scholarship, an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, a BAEF scholarship, or a Fulbright scholarship.
- Applicants may be nominated by only one Flemish higher education institution.
- Preparatory programmes, bridging programmes and distance-learning programmes are not eligible for the scholarship.
- For two-year master's programmes, continuation of scholarship funding into the second year requires obtaining at least 54 ECTS in the first academic year, unless an exception is granted.
