The Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development (r4d programme) is being implemented jointly by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The joint programme supports relevant research for development aimed at solving global problems in poor countries.
SNSF: The bilateral programmes of the Swiss Confederation are aimed at promoting and strengthening scientific cooperation with non-European countries that show high or promising research potential.
The SCOPES programme of the SNSF and the SDC is aimed at research groups and institutions in Switzerland and Eastern Europe who would like to launch a research co-operation.
SNSF: Enlargement contributions - Romanian and Bulgarian Swiss Research Programme Switzerland is contributing to the EU enlargement by supporting efforts to reduce economic and social disparities. The supported countries include Romania and Bulgaria, the two most recent EU members.
