First Ventures

The support programme for graduates of universities of applied sciences and arts (UASAs) is based on a collaboration between the Gebert Rüf Stiftung and swissuniversities. It promotes research and development projects as exemplary drivers of Switzerland’s UASAs that are creating a bridge between science, business and society.

First Ventures is aimed at UASA graduates using their Machelor’s or Master’s thesis to develop project ideas with business potential that they wish to pursue further after graduation. The support includes a financial contribution as well as an individually tailored coaching programme. For this focus, programme funds of CHF 2 million p.a. are available.

Information on the programme as well as on the submission of project applications is available at Gebert Rüf Stiftung.
