Projektzusammenfassung: The aim of EASE is to enable teachers and educational staff to implement effective and engaging learning scenarios using digital media and tools. Rather than focusing on flashy tools, digital instructional design must prioritize high-quality teaching to foster in-depth learning. This requires educators to continuously develop their skills. Such development is facilitated by effective collaboration between service centers and faculty stakeholders.

In 2025, we initiated a co-creation process with our stakeholders to inform our content creation in support of faculty's digital competencies. The needs of our target audience vary, both regarding the content and the preferred medium of instruction. This highlights the importance of creating differentiated offers, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. Accordingly, we developed diverse training courses and digital learning materials for self-study, varying in format (online and on campus) and duration. Addressing the same topic through various forms of instruction allows educators to choose the course that best suits their preferences and calendar.

In 2026, we will produce additional instructional formats to extend the range of topics and formats offered in 2025. As requested by the stakeholders, the new products will include a strong emphasis on synchronous online and blended learning offers. As in 2025, they will be supported by shorter self-study offers. These offers will be complemented with in-person events where staff from both universities come together and share their best practice, challenges, and strategies, with the aim of promoting a true community of practice.
