Based on the ORD Strategy and Action Plan, swissuniversities has submitted a proposal for federal project contributions to the Higher Education Council. The proposal was approved by the Higher Education Council in March 2022.

The Open Science Delegation leads the implementation of the Open Science I Phase B – ORD programme on behalf of the swissuniversities Board. The programme implements the action lines of the ORD Action Plan which are under the responsibility of swissuniversities. Current calls for proposals of the Open Science I Phase B – ORD programme can be viewed here.

Furthermore, it is intended that the programme will provide funding for specific action lines that lie under the responsibility of the ORD Strategy Council and the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
