On Brexit-Day, swissuniversities joins forces with 35 European and British higher education and research organisations to sign a joint declaration. Its aim is to highlight the importance of the links between the United Kingdom and the European Union for academic and scientific cooperation and to underline the willingness of these organisations to continue working together.
To this end, the signatories stress the importance of the United Kingdom’s association with the European framework programmes Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ and the continuation of collaboration with British and European - including Swiss - partners within this framework.
