In the project, which ran from June 2016 to September 2017, the e-rara platform was expanded to include full-text recognition. In the process, the backend was technically enhanced so that 3,700 digitized prints could be processed with the OCR software Abbyy FineReader. This was initially limited to content from the printing years 1830 and later and to prints in anti-qua fonts. The frontend was expanded to include a "search in full text" function, and the PDFs with the digitized material available for download now also contain the full text. The service is available to all interested parties from research, teaching and the public.
