Swiss ENIC is the national information centre for questions concerning recognition in higher education.

Swiss ENIC is a member of the international network ‘European Network of Information Centres’ (ENIC-NARICs). This network brings together the recognition services of the countries of the European Union and the Council of Europe. 

Swiss ENIC provides information on:

• the Swiss higher education system
• admission to higher education institutions
• the recognition of foreign qualifications
• the protection of titles in Switzerland
• the use of foreign titles in Switzerland
• multilateral conventions of the Council of Europe and UNESCO relating to higher education (in particular the Lisbon Convention)
• bilateral equivalence agreements signed by Switzerland with Germany, Austria, Italy and France
