P-7 Equal Opportunity and University Development

Contents: Ensuring an even number of men and women and expanding competencies to other aspects of inequality and diversity at higher education institutions.

Target group: The programme is aimed at universities, UASA and UTE.

Duration: project contributions 2017–2020

Call for tenders: It is no longer possible to hand in applications. swissuniversities is actually preparing a follow-up programme for the period 2021-24.

The «Equal opportunity and university development» programme

  • aims to ensure an even number of men and women in higher education and
  • is concerned with other aspects of inequality and diversity at universities.

The programme helps to secure equal opportunity by means of action plans (module A) and facilitates collaborative beacon projects across universities and the various types of universities (module B).

Module B – Cooperation Projects

Module B fosters collaborations between universities and the various types of universities. It supports projects that are likely to be highly visible and generate significant synergy effects. This will facilitate and strengthen innovative forms of networking and knowledge transfer between higher education institutions underneath the umbrella of swissuniversities.

The following cooperation projects selected within the framework of module B will receive funding in the years 2018-2020.
