Résumé du projet: GenAI rapidly reshapes education. A majority of students now use GenAI, while instructors increasingly need support to integrate it into their courses and to help students avoid the erosion of essential STEM skills. Our project has operationalized targeted, responsible solutions to address these needs: EPFL deployed its forum-based Tutor Bot; ETH Zurich implemented automated feedback systems; and UniNE pioneered peer-coding collaborations with chatbots. Alongside developing these solutions in 2026, we are addressing challenges to computational thinking by collaboratively establishing a validated competency framework to assess authentic student agency over machine-generated outputs. A critical step toward the sustainable integration of GenAI across STEM disciplines while preserving foundational engineering rigor.
