- ACCOMMODATION
The Central Institute of Hindi (Kendriya Hindi Sansthan), Agra provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students.
- FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The student admitted under the Promotion of Hindi Abroad Scheme (PHA Scheme) is given Economy Class Air fare (to and fro) from their respective countries by the shortest route. Selected student is given a scholarship of INR 6000/- (INR Six Thousand Only) per month. This scholarship is given to the student from 1st of August or from the month of his/her arrival up to the end of the academic session, that is, 30th of April. The student is also given a books grant of INR 1000/- (INR One Thousand only) per annum.
(1) The Institute will bring students by car from Delhi Airport to The Central Institute of Hindi, Agra and vice-versa if informed timely by the respective embassies.
(2) The Institute will reimburse (if any) to the student the amount spent by him on travel by rail/road in reaching the Central Hindi Institute, Agra from the New Delhi international Airport.
2. ICCR Scholarships under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Session 2023-24
The Government of India under the aegis of the Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR) is offering Scholarship slots under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme is one of the most important and popular schemes of the ICCR for foreign students to pursue higher studies in Indian universities and educational institutions.

MFA Scholarships for foreign students for the academic year 2023-2024

Basic Requirements:
- The applicant should hold a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement.
- The applicant should be a citizen of the country where he/she applies for the scholarship and be under the age of 35 (at the beginning of the academic year). Israeli citizens are not eligible to submit an application for this scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship must receive a student visa (A2), issued by the Israeli embassy to which their application was submitted.
- Proof of English or Hebrew language proficiency.
- The applicant should meet the academic requirements of the Israeli University to which he/she applies. A scholarship will be granted only after the required Institute approves the acceptance of the candidate.
The one academic year scholarship includes:
- Partial tuition fees - if applied (50% up to a maximum of $ 6,000 for tuition fees of $ 12,000 and higher)
- Monthly allowance for one academic year (8 months only, October until June)
- Basic health insurance*

The Korean Government represented by the National Institute for International Education Development (NIIED) offers Graduate Scholarships to several countries, including Switzerland. NIIED has announced the application guidelines of the 2021 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Degrees.
REQUIREMENTS
○ Applicants must be under 40 years of age
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must hold or must be expected to hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or a Doctoral degree.
○ Doctoral Program Applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Master’s degree.
○ Master’s Program Applicants: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
○ Research Program Applicants: Must hold a degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a Master’s degree and must have received an invitation from one of NIIED’s designated Korean universities.
HEALTH
○ All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of degree or research programs.
○ All applicants must submit ” Form 8. Personal Medical Assessment ” at the time of applying.
○ All applicants who pass the 2nd round of selection must receive comprehensive medical checkup and submit the certificate of health and medical examination result issued by a medical doctor or a licensed hospital.
○ If an applicant is found to be in one of the following conditions, the applicant will be disqualified in the final round of selection:
– An applicant is tested positive on drug tests;
– An applicant owns serious illness that prevents him or her to study abroad for long period of time including the full duration of degree or research program in Korea.
After arriving in Korea, all GKS scholars will be subject to a medical examination
administered by NIIED. If a GKS scholar is found to have a serious illness from the medical
examination after arriving in Korea, he or she will be disqualified from their GKS scholarship.
NOTES FOR ALL APPLICANTS
○ All application documents must be written either in Korean or English.
○ Documents written in languages other than Korean or English must accompany a complete Korean or English translation, authenticated by the issuing institution or notarized by a notary public.
○ All application documents must be presented in their original forms. If an applicant has to submit photocopied documents, applicant MUST have the photocopies notarized, apostilled, or receive consular confirmation and submit those certified documents.
○ All documents submitted will NOT be returned to the applicants in any case.

- To be eligible, the scholarship applicant must:
• submit a complete file;
• present study documents issued by accredited/recognized education institutions in the country where they were issued;
• comply with the enrolment deadline;
• have good results in education, respectively an average of the study years, for the last graduated school of at least 7 (seven) corresponding to the scoring system in Romania or the "Good" score, as the case;
• comply with the application submission methodology.
- What level of study does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship applicant can choose from any of the following three study cycles in accredited higher education institutions in Romania:
a) bachelor’s degree: bachelor's degree programmes are addressed to graduates of high school studies or pre-university studies at the end of which they obtained a baccalaureate degree or equivalent, as well as candidates applying for further university studies in Romania. The complete programme runs for a period of 3-6 years, depending on the specialization followed and ends with a bachelor's exam;
b) master’s degree: master's degree programmes are addressed to undergraduates, run for a period of 1 year, 1.5 years or 2 years and end with the dissertation exam;
c) PhD: doctoral programmes are addressed to graduate students or equivalent and run for a period of 3-5 years, depending on the profile of the chosen faculty and end with the presentation of a PhD thesis. In order to be admitted to doctoral studies and to obtain the scholarship, it is compulsory that, prior to submitting the application, the candidate should get the written agreement of the Doctoral Tutor, which must be a member of the doctoral school, and also that he/she passes the admission interview.
- What is the language of study?
In order to promote the Romanian language and culture, the beneficiaries of the scholarships granted by the Romanian state for undergraduate and master's studies study only in Romanian. The exception is doctoral scholarship holders, who can opt for studies in Romanian or in a foreign language set by the doctoral school. For candidates who do not speak Romanian, a preparatory year is granted for the study of the Romanian language prior to the actual university studies, with the exception of doctoral scholarship holders who have opted for the form of education in a foreign language set by the doctoral school.
The following categories of persons are exempted from enrolling in the Romanian language preparatory year:
a. those who present Romanian study documents (diplomas or certificates) or study documents, school records attesting at least four consecutive years of studies attended in Romanian in an educational unit/institution from the Romanian national system;
b. those who, in order to enrol in university education, pass the Romanian language test, organized according to the regulations in force;
c. those who, in order to enrol in university education, present a certificate of linguistic competence in Romanian, minimum level B1, issued according to the regulations in force.

The Embassy of Japan in Switzerland and the Scholarship Service of swissuniversies conduct the preliminary screening which consits of a document inspection, written language examinations (Japanese, English) and an interview.
QUALIFICATIONS (extracted from the Application Guidelines):
- Swiss Nationality: An applicant who has Japanese nationality at the time of application is not eligible.
- Age: Applicants must have been born on or after April 2, 1989.
- Academic Requirements: Applicants must be university graduates and have completed at least 16 years of formal education.
- Major Field of Study: Applicant should apply for the field of study he/she studied at the previous university or any related field. Applicant must choose a field on which he/she can receive education and perform research at the university of his/her choice.
- Japanese Language: Applicant must be willing to learn the Japanese language, interested in Japan and enthusiastic about deepening his/her understanding of Japan after arriving, and capable of engaging in study and research while adapting himself/herself to life in Japan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers scholarships for foreign students and Italian nationals living abroad (IRE) with the aim of fostering cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, the projection of Italy's economic system in the world and the dissemination of knowledge of Italian language and culture.
Grants are offered to complete study courses and research/training programs in public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions.

Academic qualifications
- Applications must only be submitted by foreign students not residing in Italy* and by Italian citizens living abroad (IRE)** holding an appropriate academic qualification required to enroll to the Italian University/Institute (more information on: studyinitaly.esteri.it/en/Recognition-of-qualification ).
Age requirements
- Applicants for Master’s Degree/Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM) Programmes/ Italian Language and Culture Courses should not be over 28 years old by the deadline of this call with the sole exception of renewals.
- Applicants for PhD Programmes should not be over 30 years old by the deadline of this call with the sole exception of renewals.
- Applicants for Research Projects under academic supervision should not be over 40 years old by the deadline of this call.
Terms of grant
- Grantees will receive a 900 Euros monthly allowance on a quarterly basis, which will be paid on their Italian bank account.

The offer 2023-2024 for Switzerland includes:
- up to 25 Full-scholarships (tuition, accomodation, health insurance and monthly allowance)
- up to 30 Partial-scholarships (waiver for study fee and health insurance)
Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must
- be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.
- be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs;
- be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs;
- be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;
- be a high school graduate (at least) under the age of 45 when applying for general scholar programs;
- be a master’s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for senior scholar programs.
- have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 3 when applying for Chinese-taught undergraduate or general scholar programs (studying Chinese language are exempted);
- have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 3 when applying for Chinese-taught senior scholar programs;
- have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 when applying for Chinese-taught master’s or doctoral programs;
- meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criterial.
Application Documents
a) Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (in Chinese or English).
b) Copy of Passport Home Page: Applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of his/her ordinary passport with validity later than March 1, 2024.
c) Notarized highest diploma: Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
d) Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
e) Language qualification certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must submit valid HSK reports in accordance with the corresponding Chinese proficiency requirements. Applicants for other language-taught programs shall provide relevant language proficiency certificates according to the universities’ requirements, like IELTS or TOFEL report.
f) Admission documents. To apply for master’s and doctoral degree or as general and senior scholars, applicants shall provide admission documents issued by the applied universities. Admission documents include admission notice, pre-admission letter, invitation from professors and etc. Applicants with admission documents will obtain the priority in winning the Chinese Government Scholarship.
g) A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English. (A minimum of 200 words for undergraduates, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for postgraduates.)
h) Recommendation letters: All applicants must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English (for degree studies from professors or associate professors).
i) Example of Art. To apply for art or design related majors, applicants could submit their own works through “Example of Art/Other Supporting Documents” in the system. Applicants could also provide such materials to the applied universities directly in other ways.
j) Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China.
k) Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English. The original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
l) Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia offers a number of scholarship months to foreign nationals, on the basis of bilateral agreement and reciprocity. For the academic year 2023/2024 a total of 12 months are offered to Switzerland.
Eligibility
This scholarships scheme is designed for university/college students or graduates and Ph.D. applicants who wish to accomplish a part of their study at one of the Slovenian higher education institutions. The age limit of the applicants for study stays is 26 years (the applicant may not complete 26 years of age before the end of the scholarship period) and 30 years for research visit. The applicants for study stays should be proficient in the Slovene language, unless the working language is agreed upon with the mentor/supervisor.
Scholarship
The scholarship cannot be awarded for a complete course of study leading to a degree. Neither can the scholarship be granted for any Slovenian language course. A part of postgraduate study is based on individual works under the supervision of Slovenian professor/mentor. The length of the scholarship usually ranges from 3 to 10 months depending upon the agreement concerned that specifies also the categories of eligible recipients.
Benefits
For the academic year 2023/2024, the scholarship comprises of:
- 360 EUR per month
- free accommodation in the facilities (student dormitory) of the Student Centre of the Universities (paid by CMEPIUS directly to provider)
- Subsidised meals - 2,82 EUR/per working day via Student Organisation of Slovenia
- basic medical insurance for non-EU applicants if there is no bilateral agreement on health insurance between Slovenia and the applicant’s home country (paid for by CMEPIUS directly to provider)

The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic supports mobility of international students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists for scholarship stays at higher education institutions and research organisations in Slovakia.
Eligible applicants
- students who:
- are university students at universities outside Slovakia;
- are students of the second level of higher education (master's students), or are students who at the time of application deadline have already completed at least 2.5 years of their university studies in the same study programme;
- will be on a study stay in Slovakia during their higher education outside Slovakia and who will be accepted by a public, private or state university in Slovakia for an academic mobility to study in Slovakia.
All 3 conditions must be met. This category does not apply to doctoral (PhD) studies (or their equivalent).
- PhD students whose higher education or scientific training takes place outside Slovakia and who are accepted by a public, private or state university or a research institution in Slovakia eligible to carry out a doctoral study programme (e.g. the Slovak Academy of Sciences) for an academic mobility to study/conduct research/artistic stay in Slovakia.
- international university teachers, researchers and artists who are invited to a teaching/research/artistic stay in Slovakia by an institution with a valid certificate of eligibility to carry out research and development, which is not a business company and it has its seat in Slovakia.
Duration of a scholarship stay
- students: 1 – 2 full semesters (i.e. 4 – 5 or 9 – 10 months) or full 1 – 3 trimesters, in case the academic year is divided into trimesters (i.e. 3 – 4 or 6 – 7 or 9 – 10 months)
- PhD students: 1 – 10 months

The scholarship is intended to cover international scholarship holders’ living costs, i.e. the costs related to staying in Slovakia (food, accommodation, etc.), during their study, research/artistic or teaching stay at universities and in research organisations in Slovakia.

As bolsas atribuídas no âmbito do presente programa têm a duração de oito meses.
A duração das bolsas de estudo Programa Curso Anual são, em regra, atribuídas anualmente, não podendo ser renovadas.
PROGRAMAS DE BOLSAS PESSOA
Destinam-se a responsáveis de Cátedras de Estudos Portugueses e de Departamentos de Português de universidades ou institutos de investigação estrangeiros, para a execução de projetos de formação e de investigação na área da língua e da cultura portuguesas. A duração da bolsa varia entre um e seis meses.
As bolsas de estudo Programa Pessoa são, em regra, atribuídas anualmente, renováveis pelo período máximo estabelecido por programa ou deliberação do Conselho Diretivo e da verificação da respetiva disponibilidade orçamental.
PROGRAMA DE BOLSAS VIEIRA
As bolsas do programa Vieira destinam-se a licenciados estrangeiros e portugueses que residam no estrangeiro envolvidos em projetos de formação e/ou aperfeiçoamento na área de tradução e da interpretação de conferências. A duração da bolsa varia entre um mês e um ano.
As bolsas de estudo Programa Vieira são, em regra, atribuídas anualmente, renováveis pelo período máximo estabelecido por programa ou deliberação do Conselho Diretivo e da verificação da respetiva disponibilidade orçamental.
PROGRAMA DE BOLSAS FERNÃO MENDES PINTO
O Programa Fernão Mendes Pinto destina-se a licenciados ou estudantes finalistas, estrangeiros e portugueses, envolvidos em projetos de formação científica ou profissional na área de português língua estrangeira, através de Centros de Língua Portuguesa do Camões, I.P., Leitorados do Camões, I.P., em universidades e/ou instituições estrangeiras que tenham acordos com o Camões, I.P.
Limite máximo da duração da bolsa FMP é de 3 anos.
Sem prejuízo do limite máximo definido (3 anos), a duração das bolsas pode ser variável, competindo ao júri do procedimento, após análise e avaliação dos projetos apresentados pelos candidatos, e tendo em conta os lugares específicos a prover, definir duração das mesmas de acordo com a seguinte tipologia:
• Tipo 1 - Bolsa de 1 ano;
• Tipo 2 - Bolsa de 2 anos;
• Tipo 3 - Bolsa de 3 anos.
PROGRAMA DE BOLSAS DE INVESTIGAÇÃO
Destinam-se a professores e investigadores estrangeiros e portugueses que residam no estrangeiro e pretendam realizar, em Portugal, estudos de especialização na área da língua e da cultura portuguesas, nomeadamente mestrados e doutoramentos em universidades portuguesas. A duração da bolsa varia entre um mês e um ano para cursos de especialização, dois anos no caso de mestrados, e três anos no caso de doutoramentos.
A duração das bolsas de estudo Programa de Investigação são, em regra, atribuídas anualmente, sendo renováveis pelo período máximo estabelecido por programa ou deliberação do Conselho Diretivo e da verificação da respetiva disponibilidade orçamental.

Within the framework of a reciprocal exchange, the Republic of Poland, represented by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA, offers 36 scholarship months to Switzerland. The scholarships can be divided into short scholarships of i.e. 1 month or granted for a semester or a full academic year.
Objectives
Under the Programme, eligible visits are those whose purpose is to:
- complete partial studies;
- complete studies (first-cycle, second-cycle or uniform Master’s degree studies). They may be preceded by a preparatory course in Polish;
- complete a research fellowship;
- complete a study visit;
- acquire research material;
- hold classes at the host institution;
- take up other forms of scientific or academic activity related to studying or preparing a doctoral dissertation or doing research.
Eligible Applicants
The following individuals are eligible to apply for participation in the Programme:
- secondary school graduates who, at the time of commencement of their education in Poland, hold a school-leaving certificate giving them the right to pursue studies in the country of issue of the certificate in any field and at any type of university;
- students;
- university graduates applying for admission to the next degree programme who obtained their diploma before 21 December 2020 and have a recommendation from their home university;

Please note:
- Students with dual citizenship (Poland/CH) are not eligible for Polish government scholarships, even if they have been living and studying in Switzerland.
- University graduates who would like to obtain a PhD degree at a Polish doctoral school are NOT eligible to apply for a Polish government scholarship since every doctoral school provides a doctoral scholarship funded by the Polish government. However, a research stay at a Polish university within the framework of a PhD in Switzerland is possible.
- Students who have already started their bachelor's, master's, or uniform master's programme in Poland can also apply for a scholarship from the Polish government (provided they are not employed by the Polish host university).

The costs of participation in preparatory courses in Polish and of education are covered by the Polish party. Moreover, individuals enrolled in full studies in Poland are entitled to:
- in the first year of study, an increase of the first monthly instalment by PLN 500 for the purpose of settling in in Poland (applies to persons who have not been residing in Poland);
- in the last year of study, an increase of the last monthly instalment by PLN 500 to cover the costs related to the preparation of the thesis.
A scholarship/fellowship holder may not receive other scholarships/fellowships related to the completion of the given form of education during the period of performance of the agreement, with the exception of funds granted under the EU Erasmus+ programme (Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science).

Please note: Applicants for fellowships, partial studies and study visits should attach:
- an invitation letter from the Polish host institution signed by the head of the unit, confirming the intention to host the applicant for the period of stay stated in the application or confirming an ongoing cooperation (formal requirement);
- a confirmation of the command of Polish or a foreign language (at least at B1 level) sufficient to communicate with the Polish host institution.
IMPORTANT: The application must be drafted in Polish or in English. Attachments should be submitted in Polish or in English. Should documents be issued in other languages (i.e. transcripts), a copy of the original document accompanied with a translation into Polish or English is required. It is acceptable to submit a copy of the doctoral degree certificate in Latin.
A COPY of all documents is required. No originals will be accepted (if the application documents are submitted by mail).

The scholarships are offered for the more than 80 institutions listed in Annex 1 in the Call in order to conduct academic activities beginning between September 1 and December 8, 2023.

This call is open to foreign individuals interested in pursuing studies in Mexico from over 180 countries, including Switzerland.
The following individuals are NOT eligible:
- Foreign diplomats accredited in Mexico, as well as their direct family members.

Latvian scholarships for studies

- Master’s or PhD students from any previous higher education institution

Scholarship for master’s studies in the study programmes of Latvian philology, Latvian literature, Latvian culture and Latvian history can be granted for two academic years, i.e. for the duration of master’s study programme.
If a student wants to continue her/his studies in Latvia for one more year, she/he has to re-apply for the Latvian scholarship. The Latvian scholarship can be awarded not more than for two consecutive terms to one individual.

Latvian scholarships for summer schools
Students, academic and research staff of foreign higher education institutions are eligible for the Latvian State scholarship for participation in summer schools.
- The amount of the Latvian scholarship granted by the VIAA for summer school is 1000 EUR per person for the duration of the summer school. The scholarships will be transferred by the VIAA to the summer school organizers, no money will be handed out to the Latvian scholarship winners.
- The participants of the summer schools have to cover travel expenses from the country of origin to the summer school location in Latvia, as well as insurance and visa expenses by themselves;

Latvian scholarships for studies:
- An applicant must receive a letter of acceptance for the chosen study programme from the Latvian higher education institution prior to the application for a scholarship.
- Language of instruction at Latvian higher education institutions is mainly Latvian, however there are a few study programmes offered in English (please, visit the website www.studyinlatvia.lv for more information). All study programmes in English are not free of charge. The Latvian scholarship holder can use the scholarship for covering of the tuition fee or for accommodation and meals. Approximately 12 scholarships are available for the period from 1 September 2023 to 31 May 2024.
Eligibility
The scholarships are intended for students of modern Icelandic. Students must have completed at least one year of University study. Students must also have prior knowledge of Icelandic according to the requirements for BA study in Icelandic as a second language (Icelandic knowledge on the level with the courses Icelandic Online 1 and 2). Preference will, as a rule, be given to a candidate under 35 years of age.
Scholarship
The scholarship covers registration fees at the University and a monthly stipend that should cover room and board for one person, payable at the beginning of each month, September to April. A room will be available for rent in the University dormitory, Gamli Garður.

- Scholarships for summer and winter schools
The purpose of the scholarship is to support foreign students participation in short summer or winter school courses of Estonian language and culture courses organized by the Estonian institutions of higher education as well as in summer and winter schools related to the degree programmes taught in English. The scholarship can be awarded to the BA, MA and PhD students who are enrolled to the higher education institution abroad at least one year by the time of application. The candidate should pre-register to the course for applying for the scholarship.
The scholarship includes a course fee in the amount of up to 700 EUR and the cost of accommodation in the amount of up to 25 EUR per night for a maximum period of 4 weeks. The board transfers and concludes a contract directly to the university organizing the course. Summer school organizing Estonian university offers accommodation or makes the scholarship payment to student. Course fee is also paid to university.
- Grants for researchers and academic staff
Grants for researchers can be awarded to the researchers and academic staff of higher education institutions abroad. The person using the grant shall hold an academic position at her/his home institutions. For example, the following are considered academic positions: professor, associate professor, teacher, reader, research fellow, lecturer, assistant. PhD students can apply for the scholarship for students only. Under this program are not offered grant for postdoctoral studies.
The grant can be used for research, teaching, collaboration with colleagues etc. Grants for researchers are divided into short-term (1-9 days) and long-term (10 days – 10 calendar months) grants. The subsistence rates are 45 EUR per day and 660 EUR per month respectively.

Within the framework of a reciprocal exchange, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MEYS) offers 2 to 4 scholarships to Switzerland.
The scholarships are designed for university undergraduate or graduate students and Ph.D. candidates who wish to undertake study or research visits to one of the Czech public institutions of higher education.
Scholarship-holders usually attend courses that do not lead to the award of a degree (non-degree study courses) or pursue an independent research activity (research visit), depending upon their academic qualifications and preferences. Applicants are required to choose a field of study that is related to the field they are studying at their home university/college.
Enrolment in standard degree study programmes, especially Ph.D. courses, for the period of scholarship is also possible. The feasibility of this option depends upon the host university.
The scholarships are not intended for intensive courses of Czech language and culture. A separate notification of scholarships for participation in the Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies is published on the Website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies 2024).

Dans un contexte de mobilité et de mondialisation accrues, ce programme de bourses a été mis sur pied par Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI).
Profil
Chercheurs(/euses) issu(e)s de tous pays et titulaire d’un diplôme de l’enseignement supérieur de docteur délivré par une institution étrangère désirant effectuer un programme de type postdoctoral au sein d’établissements d’enseignement supérieur organisés ou subventionnés par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
Domaines
En vue d’appuyer les différents pôles de compétitivité du Plan Marshall 4.0, les domaines privilégiés sont les suivants:
- Transport et logistique;
- Génie mécanique;
- Sciences du vivant;
- Agro-industrie;
- Aéronautique-spatial;
- Technologies environnementales.
Tout autre domaine sera pris en considération, qu’il s’agisse des sciences humaines, fondamentales ou appliquées.
Types de programme:
- Bourses de longue durée (minimum 1 an, renouvelable 1 fois) de niveau postdoctoral;
- Bourses de courte durée (1 à 3 mois, non renouvelable) de niveau postdoctoral.
Modalités financières:
Montant mensuel: 2.120 euros couvrant les frais de subsistance, le logement, les ouvrages didactiques et les frais de déplacements à l’intérieur du pays. Il ne s’agit donc pas d’un salair;
- Prise en charge par WBI des frais de voyage internationaux (un aller-retour pour la durée totale du programme);
- Prise en charge par WBI d’une assurance de type « soins de santé » pour les boursièr(e)s non issu(e)s de l’Union européenne.
- Prise en charge par WBI d’une assurance de type « assistance au rapatriement » (uniquement pour les bourses de longue durée).
Application Deadline
Pour les bourses de longue durée:
- Au plus tard le 1er mars 2024 pour l’année académique 2024-2025.
Pour les bourses de courte durée:
- pour les séjours prévus entre mars et juin: au plus tard le 1er octobre (UTC/GMT +2) précédant;
- pour les séjours prévus entre novembre et février (arrivée au plus tard le 1er novembre): au plus tard le 1er mai (UTC/GMT +2) précédant.

Nel caso di alcuni paesi, anche le persone senza cittadinanza svizzera possono fare domanda, a condizione che siano residenti in Svizzera e iscritti a un'università svizzera.
I requisiti per la domanda dipendono dall'offerta della borsa di studio e sono diversi per ogni paese ospitante. Benefici della borsa di studio
Le borse di studio governative sono finanziate dai paesi ospitanti. I benefici delle borse di studio variano molto da paese a paese. Normalmente, una borsa di studio governativa copre le spese vitali e di studio nel paese ospitante. Tuttavia, alcuni paesi offrono solo borse di studio parziali. Tutti gli altri costi devono essere finanziati con fondi propri. Può quindi valere la pena di scoprire esattamente quanti finanziamenti supplementari sono necessari e possibili da altre fonti.
