SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED TO NON-GREEK NATIONALS TO ATTEND COURSES AND SEMINARS IN GREECE IN THE MODERN GREEK LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
The State Scholarships Foundation (Ι.Κ.Υ.) offers up to fifty (50) scholarships to foreign nationals from countries worldwide in order to attend courses and seminars in the Modern Greek Language and Culture.
COURSE OVERVIEW
- Greek Language: This programme offers learning opportunities at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels following a placement test and subject to sufficient students’ number.
- History and Culture: Beneficiaries will be introduced to Greek History, Culture and Arts through seminars, educational visits to the sites of the city of study and excursions to other historic sites of Greece.
- Cultural Programme: Cultural events are included in the course where an active participation is required.
DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The duration of this scholarship is seven (7) months and is only offered for a specific course in the Modern Greek language and culture organised mainly at one Greek University. The University, which will hold this course, will be decided by the I.K.Y after a selection process.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Applicants should:
- Be nationals of any country of the world excluding Greece (not with dual nationality – both foreign and Greek).
- Hold a graduate degree from a non-Greek University outside Greece.
- Not exceed the fortieth (40th) year of age
- Be not permanent residents in Greece.
- The knowledge of the Greek language acquired during this specific course should contribute to enhance the candidates work opportunities and to promote the Greek language and culture in their countries.
Applicants must meet the above requirements by the application deadline.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
1. An application form, duly completed, signed and with one recent photograph attached.
2. An up-to-date curriculum vitae according to the european template “Europass” (in English or Greek language).
3. Certified copies of University Diplomas – Degrees.
4. Certificates indicating the knowledge of Greek (if any) or English or French language.
5. Two (2) letters of reference (in Greek, English or French) by a University Professor.
6. A written evidence of employment as a teacher of Greek, if any.
7. A recent (issued 1 month approximately prior to the application submission) health certificate by a national hospital or from the relevant recognized health service stating that the applicant does not suffer from any infectious diseases.
8. A copy of a valid passport / national identity card.
The above original documentation requested shall be submitted through the Greek Diplomatic Authorities.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
THE SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
The scholarship covers the following costs:
- Free meals and accommodation in University residence or in flats provided by the University which will undertake the programme.
- A monthly allowance of 150, 00€ (net amount) for personal expenses.
- 200, 00€ for initial expenses.
- Free emergency medical treatment under the Greek National Health Service (only in public hospitals). European citizens should have the European Insurance Illness Card from their insurance agency of their country.

MFA Scholarships for foreign students for the academic year 2021-2022
Call for application 2021-2022
Different types of scholarships are offered (not available for veterinary and medicine studies):
1. Summer language courses (Ulpan)
2. One academic year (October to June) for a maximum of eight months (M.A., Ph.D. Post Doctorate or research studies).
Basic Requirements:
- The applicant should hold a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement.
- The applicant should be a citizen of the country where he/she applies for the scholarship and be under the age of 35 (at the beginning of the academic year). Israeli citizens are not eligible to submit an application for this scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship must receive a student visa (A2), issued by the Israeli embassy to which their application was submitted.
- Proof of English or Hebrew language proficiency.
- The applicant should meet the academic requirements of the Israeli University to which he/she applies. A scholarship will be granted only after the required Institute approves the acceptance of the candidate.
The one academic year scholarship includes:
- Partial tuition fees - if applied (50% up to a maximum of $ 6,000 for tuition fees of $ 12,000 and higher)
- Monthly allowance for one academic year (8 months only, October until June)
- Basic health insurance*
The Summer Language Course Includes:
1. Full tuition fees
2. Dormitories
3. 3 weeks’ allowance

The Call for the NIIED 2021 KGSP Graduate Scholarships is open
The Korean Government represented by the National Institute for International Education Development (NIIED) offers Graduate Scholarships to several countries, including Switzerland. NIIED has announced the application guidelines of the 2021 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Degrees.
REQUIREMENTS
○ Applicants must be under 40 years of age as of September 1, 2021 (born after September 1, 1981)
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must hold or must be expected to hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or a Doctoral degree.
○ Doctoral Program Applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Master’s degree.
○ Master’s Program Applicants: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
○ Research Program Applicants: Must hold a degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a Master’s degree and must have received an invitation from one of NIIED’s designated Korean universities.
HEALTH
○ All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of degree or research programs.
○ All applicants must submit ” Form 8. Personal Medical Assessment ” at the time of applying.
○ All applicants who pass the 2nd round of selection must receive comprehensive medical checkup and submit the certificate of health and medical examination result issued by a medical doctor or a licensed hospital.
○ If an applicant is found to be in one of the following conditions, the applicant will be disqualified in the final round of selection:
– An applicant is tested positive on drug tests;
– An applicant owns serious illness that prevents him or her to study abroad for long period of time including the full duration of degree or research program in Korea.
After arriving in Korea, all GKS scholars will be subject to a medical examination
administered by NIIED. If a GKS scholar is found to have a serious illness from the medical
examination after arriving in Korea, he or she will be disqualified from their GKS scholarship.
NOTES FOR ALL APPLICANTS
○ All application documents must be written either in Korean or English.
○ Documents written in languages other than Korean or English must accompany a complete Korean or English translation, authenticated by the issuing institution or notarized by a notary public.
○ All application documents must be presented in their original forms. If an applicant has to submit photocopied documents, applicant MUST have the photocopies notarized, apostilled, or receive consular confirmation and submit those certified documents.
○ All documents submitted will NOT be returned to the applicants in any case.
○ Application documents must be submitted in the order of the checklist on the first page of the application forms. Each required document must be numbered and labeled on the top right corner.
○ Any fraudulent or incomplete applications will be disregarded.

Scholarships for Romania 2021/2022
Scholarship Offer
The Romanian State awards trough the Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarships to foreign citizens for studies in Romania. Priority is given to citizens of non-EU states.
Scholarships are awarded for:
a) Bachelor’s degree: bachelor's degree programmes are addressed to graduates of high school
studies or pre-university studies at the end of which they obtained a baccalaureate degree or
equivalent, as well as candidates applying for further university studies in Romania. The
complete programme runs for a period of 3-6 years, depending on the specialization followed
and ends with a bachelor's exam;
b) Master’s degree: master's degree programmes are addressed to undergraduates, run for a period
of 1 year, 1.5 years or 2 years and end with the dissertation exam;
c) PhD: doctoral programmes are addressed to graduate students or equivalent and run for a period
of 3-5 years, depending on the profile of the chosen faculty and end with the presentation of a
PhD thesis.
- Language of the study:
In order to promote Romanian language and culture, the Ministry of National Education Scientific Research has decided that the beneficiaries of the scholarships should study only in the Romanian language. The candidates who do not know Romanian are offered one supplementary preparatory year to study the language.
- Fields of study:
architecture, visual arts, Romanian culture and civilization, journalism, political and administrative sciences, education sciences, social and human sciences, technical studies, oil and gas, agricultural sciences.
> Please note that scholarships are NOT awarded in the fields of medicine, dental medicine and pharmacy.

Japanese Government MEXT Research Scholarship

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) offers one or two scholarships to Swiss students and artists who wish to study at Japanese universities as research students under the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship Program for 2021.
The Embassy of Japan in Switzerland and the Scholarship Service of swissuniversies conduct the preliminary screening which consits of a document inspection, written language examinations (Japanese, English) and an interview.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Swiss nationality.
2. Applicants must have been born on or after April 2, 1986
3. Applicants must be university graduates and have completed at least 16 years of formal edcation.
4. Major field of study: An applicant should apply for the field of study he/she studies at the previous university or any related field. An applicant must choose a field on which he/she can receive education and perform research at the university of his/her choice.
5. Japanese language: Applicants must be willing to learn Japanese language. Applicants must be interested in Japan and be willing to deepen their understanding of Japan after arriving in Japan. Applicants must also have the ability to do research and adapt to living in Japan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers scholarships for foreign students and Italian nationals living abroad (IRE) for the 2020-2021 Academic Year, with the aim of fostering cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, the projection of Italy's economic system in the world and the dissemination of knowledge of Italian language and culture (Ref. Law 288/55 and subsequent changes and integrations).
Scholarships are intended this year exclusively for renewals for the completion of study, training and/or research programs at italian state or legally recognized institutions, already underway in the academic year 2019-2020.
Requests must be submitted by Friday, October 2 at 2 p.m.

The Italian Government offers scholarships to foreign students including Swiss students and Italian citizens resident abroad (IRE) to pursue study, training, and/or research programs at Italian Higher Education Institutes, both public and legally recognised. The scholarships are offered for the following type of courses:

Academic qualifications

Age requirements
- Applicants for Master’s Degree/Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM) Programmes/ Italian Language and Culture Courses should not be over 28 years old by the deadline of this call (June 7, 2019), with the sole exception of renewals.
- Applicants for PhD Programmes should not be over 30 years old by the deadline of this call (June 7, 2019), with the sole exception of renewals.
- Applicants for Research Projects under academic supervision should not be over 40 years old by the deadline of this call (June 7, 2019).
Language proficiency
For Italian-taught courses:
- In order to enroll in an Italian-taught course, applicants must provide a certificate of their proficiency in Italian language. - Grantees will be covered by a health and medical/accident insurance contracted by MAECI for the entire duration of the grant.
- Insurance coverage will not apply to events derived from pre-existing physical and pathological conditions.
Terms of grant
- Grantees will receive a 900 Euros monthly allowance on a quarterly basis, which will be paid on their Italian bank account.

The $93.7 million Destination Australia Program allows tertiary education providers, including vocational education and training and higher education providers, to apply for funding through a competitive grants process to administer and promote scholarships for Australian and international students who live and study in regional Australia.
Scholarships are valued at $15,000 per student, per year, and will be available for students undertaking a Certificate IV through to PhD.
For the purposes of the Destination Australia Program, a regional location is classified as any area outside of Major Cities of Australia, in line with the Australian Bureau of Statistics' Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure.

Scholarships of the Republic of Slovenia 2021/2022
Scholarship Offer
The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia offers a number of scholarship months to foreign nationals, on the basis of bilateral agreement and reciprocity. For the academic year 2021/2022 a total of 12 months are offered to Switzerland.
This scholarships scheme is designed for university/college students or graduates and Ph.D. applicants who wish to accomplish a part of their study at one of the Slovenian institution of higher education. A part of postgraduate study is based on individual works under the supervision of Slovenian professor/mentor. The length of the scholarship usually ranges from 3 to 10 months depending upon the agreement concerned that specifies also the categories of eligible recipients.
The scholarship cannot be awarded for a complete course of study leading to a degree. Neither can the scholarship be granted for any Slovenian language course. Furthermore, tuition fee cannot be covered from this scholarship.
The age limit of the applicants for study stays is 26 years (the applicant may not complete 26 years of age before the end of the scholarship period) and 30 years for research visit. The applicants for study stays should be proficient in the Slovene language, unless the working language is agreed upon with the mentor/supervisor.
For the academic year 2021/2022, the scholarship comprises of:
- 300 EUR per month
- free accommodation in the facilities (student dormitory) of the Student Centre of the Universities (paid by CMEPIUS directly to provider)
- Subsidised meals - 2,63 EUR/per working day via Student Organisation of Slovenia
- basic medical insurance for non-EU applicants if there is no bilateral agreement on health insurance between Slovenia and the applicant’s home country (paid by CMEPIUS directly to provider)

The scholarship is intended to cover international scholarship holders’ living costs, i.e. the costs related to staying in Slovakia (food, accommodation, etc.), during their study, research/artistic or teaching stay in Slovakia.

Polish Government Scholarships 2021/2022
Scholarship Offer
Within the framework of a reciprocal exchange, the Republic of Poland, represented by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA, offers 4 scholarships of 9 months each to Switzerland. The scholarships can be divided into short scholarships of i.e. 1 month or granted for a semester or a full academic year.
Objectives
The scholarships are offered for the following objectives:
- completion of a scientific internship;
- completion of partial studies;
- completion of higher studies (first and second-cycle studies, uniform master's studies or education at a doctoral school); higher studies or education at a doctoral school may be preceded by a preparatory course for studies;
- study visit;
- obtaining materials for scientific work;
- conducting classes at the Host Centre;
- other form or forms of scientific or academic activity related to the implementation of studies, doctoral dissertation or scientific work.
In case of an application for internship, partial studies or study visits, the applicant must also enclose an invitation from the Host Centre, signed by the head of the unit, confirming the will of admitting the scholarship holder for the requested period of time. In case of applying for full studies, the applicant has to meet the recruitment requirements of the selected university. The final decision on admission shall be made by the Host Centre.
Eligible Applicants
Individuals can apply for the Programme
- who are graduates of secondary schools possessing a school leaving certificate at the moment of the start of the Programme (starting their education in Poland), giving them the right to study in the country where the certificate was issued in any field and at any type of university, or
- who are students at foreign universities, or
- who have the status of a doctoral student in a foreign higher education and science system, or
- who are graduates of higher studies and obtained their diploma not earlier than within two years before the current call for proposals and possess a recommendation from their university –applying for admission to the next degree of education, or
- who are employees of a foreign higher education and science institution, conducting research or didactic activity
Students with dual citizenship (Poland/CH) are not eligible for Polish Government scholarships, even if they live and study in Switzerland.
Applicants who are already studying in Poland cannot apply for a scholarship. Exceptions to this rule are possible under certain circumstances.

- in the last year of studies - the last monthly Scholarship increased by the lump sum of PLN 500 for the costs related to the preparation of the diploma thesis.
Meals in the refectory and accommodation in student dormitories are at the expense of the scholarship holders.

IMPORTANT: The application must be submitted in two (2) idential copies in one of the following languages: Polish or English. Should documents be issued in other languages, an officially certified translation into Polish or English is required. Documents in other languages will not be accepted.

Polonista Programme - Scholarships and Fellowships for Students and Scientists
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has opened a call for applications in the second edition of the Polonista Programme. It is dedicated to students of Polish philology, Polish studies or Polish programmes conducted among others as part of Slavic studies (covering Polish language, Polish culture and the knowledge of Poland) and to scholars from foreign universities and research institutions. Students – NAWA scholarship holders – can expand their interests in Polish studies by refining their language skills, participating in lectures and classes according to the selected curriculum, conducting research, carrying out scholarly projects, gathering material for their research or thesis and using the resources at university libraries and archives in the course of part-time (one-term or two-term) or full-time studies in Poland. Scholars from foreign academic and research centres may carry out research projects lasting from three to twelve months at Polish universities and scientific institutions. The purpose of the projects should be, among others, doing scientific research (including in cooperation with Polish scientists), obtaining materials for research or scholarly publications, completing a postdoctoral fellowship, holding classes at the host centre or taking an intensive course of Polish.
Ulam Programme - Mobility grants for post-doctoral researchers
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has opened the second edition of the Ulam Programme for post-doctoral scientists who would like to come to Poland to conduct research, teach or gather materials for their work or publications for stays from 6 to 24 months. The scholarship includes a living allowance in the amount of approx. 2400 euro monthly which can be increased by about 500 euro and/or 240 euro for an accompanying spouse and/or underage child. The scholarship also includes a one-off mobility allowance ranging from 1600 euro to 2800 euro depending on the researcher's departure country, which can also be increased in case of the accompanying family members. The Programme is addressed to scientists around the world representing all fields of science.

Mexican Government's Merit Awards for International Students 2020
Scholarship Offer
As part of a reciprocal exchange, the government of Mexico, represented by the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), offers 4 scholarships to Switzerland for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study and research.
The scholarships are offered for the institutions and programs specified in the "List of Institutions and Academic Programs" in order to conduct academic activities from 1st of March to the 10th of December 2020 (No scholarships will be awarded for studies started after the 10th of December 2020).
Requirements for all applicants:
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Degree, as required by the program for which the scholarship is requested. Technical and/or commercial degree titles are not accepted. For the cases of mobility at the Bachelor's level, it will not be necessary to submit a diploma, only proof of studies of the last academic period completed, issued by the institution of origin.
- Applicants must have achieved a minimum grade point average of eighty (80), on a scale of 0 to 100, or the equivalent, for the last academic degree received. Applications with a lower grade point average will not be considered.
- Applicants must be accepted or currently enrolled in a program of the participating Mexican institutions.
Scholarships are not granted for direct Ph.D. programs (combined M.A. and Ph.D. programs), distance learning programs, open or online education.
The following academic programs are not eligible for scholarships: Business Administration, Plastic Surgery, Accounting, Marketing, Advertising and Publicity, Dentistry and Odontology, as well as related fields.

The Latvian State Scholarships for studies, research or summer schools 2021/2022
Scholarship Offer
Latvia offers scholarships to foreign students, researchers and teaching staff for studies, research and participation in summer schools in Latvian higher education institutions in the 2021/2022 academic year. The Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia has delegated the administration of the Latvian state scholarships to the State Education Development Agency (Valsts izglītības attīstības aģentūra – VIAA).
- Latvian scholarships for studies
Language of instruction at Latvian higher education institutions is mainly Latvian, however there are a few study programmes offered in English (please, visit the website www.studyinlatvia.lv for more information).
Applications for bachelor's and the first level of professional higher education studies will be accepted from students who have successfully completed at least one academic year of studies (at their home higher education institution or at a Latvian higher education institution if they already have been studying in Latvia) at the moment of application (February, March 2021).
Scholarships for bachelor's and master's studies are granted for one academic year – a time period up to 10 months (for PhD-students – up to 11 months).
Scholarship for master's studies in the study programmes of Latvian philology, Latvian literature, Latvian culture and Latvian history can be granted for two academic years, i.e. for the duration of master's study programme.
The amount of the Latvian state scholarship is 500 EUR/month for BA and MA students and 670 EUR/month for PhD students.
- Latvian fellowships for research
Only academic or scientific staff of foreign higher education and research institutions are eligible candidates for the Latvian state fellowship for research.
The fellowship is granted for a time period of up to 5 months and amounts to 30 EUR/day for everyday use and 300 EUR/month for accommodation.
- Latvian scholarships for summer schools
Only students, academic and research staff of foreign higher education institutions are eligible for the Latvian scholarship for participation in summer schools. The amount of the scholarship granted by the VIAA for summer school is 711 EUR per person for the duration of the summer school.

Icelandic Government Scholarships for Studies in Icelandic at the University of Iceland 2021-2022
Scholarship Offer
The Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture awards on a competitive multilateral basis scholarships to several countries - including Switzerland – for studies in Icelandic as a second language at the University of Iceland, Reykjavík. Approximately 15 scholarships are available for the period from September 1st 2021 to April 30th 2022.
Eligibility
The scholarships are intended for students of modern Icelandic. Students must have completed at least one year of University study. Students must also have prior knowledge of Icelandic according to the requirements for BA study in Icelandic as a second language (Icelandic knowledge on the level with the courses Icelandic Online 1 and 2). Preference will, as a rule, be given to a candidate under 35 years of age.
Scholarship
The scholarship covers registration fees at the University and a monthly stipend that should cover room and board for one person, payable at the beginning of each month, September to April. A room will be available for rent in the University dormitory, Gamli Garður.

Estonian Government Scholarships for International Students 2020-2021
Scholarship Offer
The Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Archimedes Foundation offer scholarships to foreign nationals in the framework of the Estonian Scholarship Programme for international students, researchers and academic staff.
- Scholarships for short courses
The purpose of the scholarship for short courses is to support participation in short courses of Estonian language and culture organised by the Estonian institutions of higher education as well as in summer and winter schools related to the degree programmes taught in English. The scholarship can be awarded to BA, MA and PhD students who are enrolled to the higher education institution abroad at least one year by the time of application.
The scholarship can include a course fee in the amount of up to 500 EUR and the cost of accommodation in the amount of up to 25 EUR per night for a maximum period of 4 weeks.
- Scholarships for researchers
Scholarships for researchers can be awarded to researchers and academic staff of higher education institutions abroad. They are divided into short-term (1-9 days) and long-term (10 days – 10 calendar months) scholarships and can be used for research, teaching, collaboration with colleagues etc.
The subsistence rates are 45 EUR per day and 660 EUR per month respectively.

Scholarship Offer
The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia together and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes offer scholarships to several countries, including Switzerland. Detailed information is available on the websites of the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
The following two scholarship programmes are available for Swiss applicants:
A/1 One semester studies for students of Croatian Language abroad
Eligible applicants: undergraduate (BA/BSc) and graduate (MA/MSc) students currently enrolled in studies, especially those majoring in Croatian Language and Literature, as well as graduate students working on their theses. Before application, students are required to have completed a minimum of two semesters at their home institutions
F Summer course of Croatian language and literature in August 2020 (2 weeks)
Eligible applicants: foreign students of Croatian and Slavic Studies who are currently enrolled in studies in foreign universities. Also, lecturers (professors, senior assistants with a PhD and teaching/research assistants) who teach Croatian language and literature at foreign universities.
The scholarship type F is granted for the Croatian Seminar for Foreign Slavic Studies Students in Dubrovnik from 17th to 28th August 2020 organised by the Zagreb School of Slavic Studies.

F Summer course 2020 in Dubrovnik: A minimum level of language competence is B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (it applies to understanding, speaking and writing).
Preference will be given to candidates with a level of the Croatian language competence B2 and higher.

The Colombian Government, through ICETEX (http://www.icetex.gov.co), offers 50 postgraduate scholarships to foreign citizens of all nationalities interested in pursuing specializations, masters or PhD programs in Colombia.
Application requirements:
- Do not have Colombian nationality
- Not residing oder having started studies in Colombia
- Maximum 50 years old
- Have a professional or bachelor's degree in any field
- Have a GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or its equivalent in the Colombian scale
- High level of Spanish language (Reading, Writing and Speaking), minimum level B2 in the DELE or SIELE exam
- Have admission to at least one graduate program listed in the Catálogo de Oferta Académica Convocatoria General 2019

Danish Government Scholarships for Summer Language Courses 2020
Scholarship Offer
Denmark offers a pool of scholarships to several countries, including Switzerland, on a competitive multilateral basis. Swiss students can apply for a scholarship under the Cultural Agreements programme to attend a Danish Summer Language Course.
The summer language courses in Danish are open to bachelor, master's and PhD students. The courses offer foreign students Danish language instruction at all levels, while showcasing Denmark and Danish culture. They feature a minimum of 3 hours of language instruction a day accompanied by excursions and cultural activities. The Danish Summer Language Courses last 3 weeks and are offered during the months of July and August 2020. The courses are offered by a number of different course providers, located in different regions of Denmark.
There are 225 scholarships available in 2020. Accepted students receive free tuition. Additionally, accepted students receive free room and board or a scholarship of 5,000 DKK to contribute to costs of room and board.

Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship to Foreign Students 2021/2022
Scholarship Offer
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam offers scholarship awards that provides applicants with the opportunity to undertake Diploma, Undergraduate Degree and Postgraduate Master's Degree at any one of the following institutions of higher education:
• Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD),
• Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA),
• Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and
• Politeknik Brunei (PB).
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be, between the ages of 18-25 for Undergraduate and Diploma programmes and must not exceed the age of 35 for Postgraduate Master's Degree programmes on the 31st July 2021. The award is NOT eligible to Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents.
BENEFITS
- exemption from paying tuition fees including acceptance, examination, registration and orientation fees for the duration of the programme;
- an economy class air-ticket to Brunei Darussalam from the scholarship recipient's country of origin/ country of domicile prior to the commencement of the course and an economy class air-ticket from Brunei Darussalam to the scholarship recipient's country of origin/country of domicile upon completion of the course;
- a monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00;
- a monthly meals allowance of BND$150.00;
- an annual book allowance of BND$600.00;
- accommodation at the residential college of the University/ Polytechnic;
- baggage allowance for shipment of the scholarship recipient's personal effects to his country of origin/country of domicile upon completion of the programme, at a maximum amount of:
- BND$250.00 to a country within the ASEAN region; or
- BND$500.00 to a country outside the ASEAN region;
- comprehensive insurance cover for the whole duration of the Scholarship. The scholarship recipient is urged to obtain additional insurance prior to his travel to Brunei Darussalam and for the whole duration of the Scholarship at his own expense
